The Public Security Level-4 Network is a dedicated communication network established between district and county public security bureaus and township police stations, enabling various services such as telephone communications, OA data transmission, internet access, video conferencing, and smart city surveillance. These services are physically isolated from one another, with Ethernet connections supporting 2GE and 2FE, and network lines capable of delivering both gigabit and 100-megabit bandwidths.
The core equipment of district- and county-level public security bureaus features multi-service capabilities, high bandwidth, and aggregation functions. The transmission media support both fiber optics and circuits, while the network configuration is highly flexible, allowing for the establishment of point-to-point, chain, ring, and tree-based access networks depending on available fiber-optic and circuit resources. This setup ensures an effective transmission bandwidth of 2.5G, adequately meeting the bandwidth requirements of the four-tier public security network.
