Project Background


Sichuan Xinyisheng Communication Technology Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the research, development, production, sales, and technical services of computer network equipment and components, as well as communication equipment and components. It also conducts foreign trade operations, including the import and export of goods or the import and export of technology.

This time, the company's new optical module production base requires the deployment of over 6,000 telephone lines for daily office use. Additionally, it needs to connect the programmable equipment from the existing factory as well as the Thailand plant, enabling seamless internal call routing and transfer services. Considering the superior advantages of network integration, and after a comprehensive evaluation across all relevant factors, the company has ultimately decided to adopt the optical transmission solution and digital program-controlled switching products provided by Zhejiang Hengjie Communication Technology Co., Ltd.

Plan Layout


During communication and exchanges between Hengjie Communication's Sichuan agent and its customers, Hengjie's HJ-E900 series digital program-controlled switches—capable of supporting up to 8,192 lines per single unit—have been deployed at the optical module production base of Sichuan Xinyisheng Communication Technology Co., Ltd. The internal line utilizes traditional analog extensions, PCM transmission, IP extension deployment, and PDH networking. The external line is connected via digital trunk cards to China Unicom's IMS trunk service, as well as to the analog trunk service.

Ultimately, direct PCM transmission was achieved between each building, floor-level telecommunications shafts, and the core machine room. At the overseas branch factory, IP extensions were deployed. Meanwhile, the new and existing bases—despite using different brands of programmable equipment—were seamlessly interconnected via Hengjie PDH optical transceivers for 2M aggregation networking, enabling smooth internal call routing and intercommunication across the new plant, old plant, and international branch offices. Additionally, 25 telephone conference rooms have been set up for internal company phone discussions. Up to 300 participants can join at the agreed-upon time by dialing their respective room numbers, significantly enhancing the efficiency of timely internal communication while also reducing communication costs.

The wiring structure within the machine room is simple: a single fiber optic cable can transmit signals from 128 extensions via the PCM board, and each board can connect up to 4 optical modules that extend in 4 different directions. At the terminal weak-current shaft, Hengjie’s integrated multiplexing equipment is deployed, enabling zero-configuration and zero-maintenance for all terminals. This approach not only reduces deployment costs but also lowers maintenance expenses.
