The HJ-CGE fiber optic transceiver is an Ethernet transmission media conversion unit that exchanges short-distance twisted pair electrical signals with long-distance optical signals. It supports jumbo frames, short frames, and error frame processing; supports half-duplex. The product performs optical-electrical conversion between 10Base-T or 100Base-TX or 1000Base-TX and 1000Base-FX, enabling traditional 10M/100M/1000M Ethernet to be extended over fast Ethernet fiber links up to 100km, with network interface transmission within 100 meters without packet loss. It meets the needs of fast Ethernet workgroup users requiring long distance, high speed, and high bandwidth. It complies with Ethernet standards IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3z, IEEE802.3ab, supports full-duplex, half-duplex, and rate auto-negotiation modes at 10/100M or 10/100/1000M speeds, and features automatic crossover detection and automatic polarity adaptation.
