The HJ-E800B digital program-controlled switch is the largest capacity new generation product in the E800 series. It integrates technologies such as circuit, IP, and fiber optic access to develop and produce a new generation digital program-controlled switch. It supports analog trunks such as loop, E&M, and carrier, as well as digital trunks with protocols like No.7, R2 (NO.1), PRI, and V5 signaling. It supports remote module extension via optical interface and E1 interface methods. It also supports VOIP trunks based on H.323 and SIP protocols. This device is ideal for users to improve communication conditions, enhance work efficiency, control call expenses, and implement intelligent office automation. It features ease of use, flexibility, high reliability, and large capacity. The HJ-E800B device adopts a modular design, composed of 1 to 8 modules. Each module is controlled by one MCU and has 16 user board slots. A single module supports up to 256 user interfaces, and the entire device can provide a maximum of 2048 voice telephone lines.
The system supports up to 9 DT digital trunk boards. Each DT provides 4 E1 accesses, and each E1 can be individually set to NO.1, PRI, or NO.7 signaling. The system can support up to 36 E1s and 1024 loop trunk interfaces.
The device supports two MCU/SCU main control boards. One MCU/SCU controls the operation of the entire device, while the other MCU/SCU serves as a backup main control board. When the first MCU/SCU fails, it can automatically switch to the second MCU/SCU for operation. The system's PWR power board has dual backup, supporting dual backup for operating voltage and ringing current, as well as fault detection.

- Basic services: can provide intra-group calls, inter-group calls, malicious call tracking, operator functions, intelligent incoming call matching, remote optoelectronic extension functions, wake-up service, distinctive ringing, incoming call transfer, call answering on behalf, and other functions.
- Main required services: abbreviated dialing, hotline service, call detail record support, do not disturb service, alarm clock service, interception service, call waiting, malicious call search, busy/no answer/unconditional forwarding, busy callback, outgoing call restrictions, absent user service, immediate billing, three-party calls, 128-party conference calls, caller ID display, caller ID display restrictions, voicemail, and over 200 blacklist settings.
- The system is required to have a maximum user capacity of no less than 2048 lines, maximum trunk capacity of no less than 1024 lines, support No.7/PRI/No.1 signaling, and magnetic trunk. The switching system should have strong upgrade capabilities, allowing smooth online addition of new system functions without affecting call processing.

Each PCM card supports a maximum of 256 extension lines.
- The main equipment system supports simultaneous management via Ethernet and serial ports, and through the network interface supports 8 soft seats.
